This spring semester, January – May 2008, I chose to complete a school psychology practicum at West Seneca East Elementary School.  I have been placed with the school psychologist, Ms. Diane Marasciulo, who is supervising my time here.  The population of children that I will be working with range in age from five to ten years old.  My ultimate goal for this semester is to gain a better understanding of the daily tasks and routine of a school psychologist.  I am eager to observe how this kind of career fits into the overall school setting.  Moreover, I am looking forward to learning how children are assessed and counseled through school resources.
